Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum is the museum specialzed in Korean
ceramics. It is located in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do Province, where the royal kilns named Bunwon were established and administered by Joseon government for the five hundred years of the Joseon Dynasty. The Museum was founded with the objectives of collection, preservation, research, and exhibition of Korean ceramics including celadons and White Porcelains from the past and the modern times.

In order to help the general public better understand the history and tradition of Korean ceramics, the Museum presents exhibitions on ceramics relics and artworks produced by artisans with outstanding craft skills and artistic sense from the ancient times, when ceramics were first made in Korea, to modern times. Being the treasure house of regional cultural heritage, the Museum offers various programs for the public.
